Haydn Orchestra of Bolzano and Trento

The Haydn Orchestra, recognized as a concert institution by the Ministry of Tourism, was founded in 1960 by the provincial government and local authorities of Trento and Bolzano.

The Haydn Orchestra is one of Italy's most successful orchestras and a great favourite in the top concert halls both at home and abroad.

The concerts are at the Auditorium in a fitting venue of its own.

The repertoire ranges from baroque through to modern music styles, vocal and religious works. World famous conductors occupy the auditorium's rostrum on a regular basis, including Abbado, Muti and Chailly. Gustav Kuhn has been wielding the baton there since 2003.
