Capuchin church

Capuchin church in Bolzano The Capuchin church was built in 1600 on the ground where Wendelstein Castle, the seat of the counts of Tyrol, once stood and is a dozen or so metres to the south of the Dominican church.

The church is dedicated to Saint Anthony of Padova.

Of particular interest is the Baroque high altar and the altar-piece of Felice Brusasorci (1600) showing Saints Francis, Anthony and Andrew.
