Questions, questions, questions! Answers are provided by the more than 5,500 books, specialist subscription magazines, scientific publications, documents, videos and CDs in the library in the South Tyrol Archaeology Museum.
Students, scientists and enthusiasts will find a great deal of valuable and interesting information on the prehistory and early history of the Alpine region and Central Europe, on Ötzi, the man from the ice, and on archaeological methods.
Other highlights include museum pedagogics, museology, children's and young people's literature and educational materials for teachers.
The library contains books in German, Italian and English, which can be used during opening hours; monographs can also be borrowed. Library users also have access to a workstation with computer and Internet connection, plus a link to the international library system.
Media stocks are updated on a regular basis through the active exchange of the latest research works with other museums in Italy and Central Europe.
