The Brunico Christmas market takes place under the banner of "Mountain Christmas: Tradition and Modernity". The introduction to this year's theme "my Christmas of 60 years ago" represents this very well: Grandmother Klara tells her grandson about her Christmas of 60 years ago. How was Advent celebrated then? How were the Advent wreath and the Zelten Christmas cake made? Did St. Nicholas come and surprise the children in those days? These true events and stories are aimed at reminding us of the traditional way of celebrating Christmas.
